This has such a strange quality! It looks almost as though it is lit from behind.

I'm curious about the technique you used here. It has the look of both a print and a painting or drawing, and a sense of colour being both added and removed. Very cool!

You have a great diversity of work! I landed on your blog when I found your website accidentally. Compliments from one artist to another! Rock and Roll!

Thanks Blue Zebra! I just worked from dark to light in Photoshop. Used a lot of textures and custom brushes.

The horse and child illustration is gorgeous. I'm an artist who let life get in the way and also never worked hard enough at it. This illustration makes me want to!

Thanks for the kind words Stacy. It's never too late to be creative and have fun!

Hi, I'd die to get a print of it! This picture touched me so much. It understands me. Please tell me where I can purchase it.

I have been searching for any kind of illustration of Alexander and his stories. This artwork is among the best ones of Alexander and Buccefalus. You really capture the moment, sense and special relationship between those two ancient figures. Bravo.

Where may I purchase a print please? I followed the links and could not find this piece of art listed.
Thank you.

May I please disappear into that oddly lit beautifully illuminated world? At what cost -- my soul is already mortgaged. Lynne
